My order was the Luncheon Jager Schnitzel and their Pilsner beer on tap. First off. I have always been told Pilsner beer I have visited The Taste of Berlin on several occasions and have never been disappointed.
The food is as close to German cuisine as it can get with cuts of meat being a little different than in Germany. Love the atmosphere the owners created. Taste is near the Brandon Hospital and in this neighborhood there are a lot of vacated medical offices, but don't let that stop you!

Once inside this small restaurant, you're transported visually to Bavaria. Food is excellent -- but maybe not for the tastes of Found this restaurant on the web searching for a good German one.
After reading the reviews, specially the negative ones that almost killed me, they were so funny and you could see that there were some Americans never tried a real German food.
I thought We had beer, appetizers and dinner. Our food was excellent and so was the atmosphere and service. I am a true lover of Schnitzel. I enjoy most all of it veriations, and they are numerous. I visited Taster of Berlin with my oldest son to thank him for a favour. The dacore is very simple, and nothing special. Fully half of the Service and food were very good. Food was fresh and cooked to order. Could use a bit more ambiance with decor.
If you like German food, you'll get some great dishes here. Staff is always friendly, seating is usually quick, as is the food. I grew up with European parents and can attest to the authenticity of the food.
A bit higher priced, especially if you Everything served was authentic and outstanding.
